Bernardo Nadal-Ginard - Global Leader in Cardiovascular Medicine

Dr. Bernardo Nadal-Ginard is an influential figure in cardiovascular medicine. From his early tenure at Harvard Medical School to his leadership roles across Europe, Japan, and the United States, Dr. Bernardo Nadal-Ginard’s contributions have bridged the worlds of science, education, and biotechnology.

Dr. Nadal-Ginard’s early scientific achievements at Harvard University set the foundation for his distinguished career. Between 1985 and 1994, he served as director of the American Heart Association - Bugher Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, as well as director of the Harvard-MIT MD/PhD program.

Between 2005 and 2010, he extended his work into Europe as co-founder and scientific director of Coretherapix, S.L., a biotechnology company based in Madrid and focused on regenerative therapies for cardiovascular diseases. During this time, he also led research initiatives at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC), serving as both head of research and chairman of the Department of Regenerative Cardiovascular Medicine.

In 2010, Dr. Nadal-Ginard became CEO of StemCell Operating Co. In this role, he ensured that research projects complied with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
